夙川でのお花見

3月31日（木）所要で神戸からの帰宅途中、いい天気であったので阪急夙川駅で下車し、お花見を楽しみました。
 夙川駅から北へ、夙川沿いの桜並木は、松並木と併行して続き、薄紅色の桜と松の緑のコントラストが美しい散歩道です。平日でしたが沢山の人出で、宴会をしているグループも幾つか見られました。桜は六分咲き程度でしたので、今日か明日は満開かもしれません。

What it comes to the spring in Japan, the cherry blossom (=sakura=桜) viewing is the most popular event. Cherry blossoms come out between late March and April in Japan.　We enjoyed the cherry blossoms viewing near at Shukugawa Station of Hankyu railway on 31th of March.

Many people were enjoying the cherry blossoms along the Shukugawa river with the green pine trees in the background. 

Some Japanese cultural traditions are often attributed to the influence of  Buddhism, which adheres to the concept of all things constantly changing. The cherry blossoms symbolize the ephemeral nature of life because they bloom spectacularly for only a very short time, and they resonate with Japan’s spiritual background.
